    ^^^^

Worth reading that thread, particularly the replies by Sky James.

My comment in this thread was related to Frenzies, where ridiculous abuse had been proven, & chat bans issued.

The Business pledges to treat all players fairly, so it's a little regrettable when it's not a 2 way street.

It is far less likely to happen in a normal MTT, with a couple of good regs in there.

People play sats to add in table counts and a punt.  They will take the gamble for some free EV.  For players who care about their hourly, they won't do the same in a MTT.

If you flip 6 handed, for a £55/1kGTD overlay, then you are gaining about 200%ROI.  A good reg wouldn't take that when they can print a 35%ROI every single day.

Plus the precedent has been set that Sky will issue chat bans and cancel the tournie if it is abused.  The word has travelled fast so people are far less likely to attempt it now.

My point stands that all you need in the opening field is 1/2 good regs to self police this anyway.  There's barely a tournie that starts without Andy/Matt/Marc/Tommy etc in them.  I looked at the 7 at 7 field yesterday and saw 5 players in there at the start who would be up for playing a £55 at that same time.

I agree that it can be self-policed, and it depends who is populating the lobby. I can see why Sky may feel there's a risk though.

Any reason why the 500 11r wasn't in the lobby today?  Every one that has run so far has exceeded the GTD by at least 20%

Also can we have a trial of something bigger at 7?

    Thanks!

If you don't want it to get cancelled, more than 3 of you need to be in at the start.

On Monday it just wasn't in the lobby, I tried to find it from 4.30.  Was there yesterday tho so maybe it was just a glitch. Actually maybe I'm remembering it wrong think I started later on Monday.  I'll reg it before 5pm to help it start in future.

    Yeah 77 at 7!  A few sats from 5pm?

The QuickDraw did very well last night as did the Summit so looks like the numbers are building up for the autumn

Thanks James, appreciate you looking into adding to the schedule

Slightly off topic as it's not a permanent schedule thing, but when will SPT Brighton sats start please?

    ---

£5 £200 gtd Freezeout at 9pm when the only other 9pm MTT is the Sheriff - Seems a bit of a waste of that spot tbh. The Sheriff player pool is gonna be

    - Regs
    - Sat qualifiers, and even the sats aren't cheap
    - A few wealthier punters

So for the majority of people, it's not going to be an option most nights. If you're not playing the Sheriff and freezeouts don't interest you - Based on historical data, Sky players do prefer BHs - then there's a bit of a lull in the tournament schedule there. I'd consider maybe switching it to a £5 BH and bumping the guarantee up accordingly. Can always push the £5.50 freezeout forward 15 minutes if you want to keep it on the schedule, there's nothing at 8:45 really (A £2.20 Omaha MTT and a HU BH shuffle that I don't even know if it runs ever).

    ---

I'd also like to see Sky create a standout satellite for the Sheriff with multiple guaranteed seats, similar to the 6pm main event sats. I think a lot of players will stay away from satellites when it's only one seat guaranteed. Therefore, a £12 sat at 7pm with maybe 3 seats guaranteed would get more interest IMO. Stick a minimum 8 runners on it for 2 tables and not H4H from hand one, as you're going to struggle to get that many people agreeing a flip for the added value across multiple tables.

Could run £2.60 sats to £12 7pm sat throughout the day as well. Atm cheapest way into the Sheriff is £12. EDIT: There's a couple of £3 all in sats at around 9pm, but no proper satellites below £12.

I struggle to see regulars not late registering for the overlay if it's there, and it'll probably attract added recreational interest.

    8.45 or maybe 7.45 slot

Could have a £5.50bh rebuy, they seem a popular format. Can get decent prizepools and people can late reg and add on and have an ok stack without worrying about spending loads on rebuys and still have a chance at decent ftw. Possibly you could have it at 7.45 and move the £11bh to 8.45 so you have £11bh a bit more spread out at 7.45, 8.45 and 9.30.

Regarding sats I am sure they used to have a bigger one for the £55bh. A main sat and a late reg sat like pingu suggested could work well.

I dont often say that but seems a good idea from the pingu. Be good to get some forum comments to know if these sats would appeal to people.

I'd certainly like to see a better satellite schedule for the sheriff, I'm sure they'd be popular.
