Proposed change to monthly NAPs tables

Just a little request from me.

I have started a spearate thread as with a (nother) busy day ahead of Napping I thought it might get lost if I posted in the August thread.

As you know I am keeping tabs (with assistance from G, V and Micky and Max who collates the daily results) on the weekly, monthly, overall and LIVE only NAPPING record of those who do it regular in support of the syndicate.

Mostly this doesn't take me much time now that I have put some effort into the spreadsheets.

By far the most complex one is the one that tracks the monthly and the overall position which I update at the end of each week (or thereabouts) with the week running Monday to Sunday.

That job get's particularly messy at the end of a month, especially when the month does not end on a Sunday.

What I would like to propose is that we move away from "calendar months" and run each month starting on the first Monday in the month and finishing on the Sunday after the last Monday in the month.

That would mean I only ever have to update a "monthly" table based on a full week of results, which as I keep a spearate spreadsheet for each week makes it easier to both do and check.

I have already started August from Tuesday 1st but (if agreed) will run the monthly results up to Sunday 3rd September,

(You might want to look at a calendar at this point)

Then September would from Monday 4th until Sunday 1st October.

October would run from Monday 2nd until Sunday 5th November.

November would run from Monday 6th until Sunday 3rd December

December would run from Monday 4th December to Sunday 31st December.

Are there any objections to that?

Re the above in bold, just to avoid any confusion people may have, am I correct in that it's the same as saying each new "month" will start on the first Monday of the month?

Regarding starting this month on Tues 2nd, I assume you mean Tues 1st August?

Yes. Each month would start on the 1st monday of the month and finish on the Sunday after the last monday of the month.

I also would put the dates and no. of weeks in the OP for each monthly thread and remind people in the thread as we get near month end.
