Hi all, when we find out the Jackpot Meeting, thought I'd have a fun "GUESS THE JACKPOT POOL SIZE" comp. 

Post selections here if you want to have a go. There will be a carry over of £171,395.

Just bragging rights for the winner. :=)

    True and "funny" story about Wolverhampton Jackpot.

    OK, I am guessing this is probably around 2003, and I am at Wolverhampton Racecourse with my then girlfriend.

    There was a juicy roll over for the Jackpot (Not as much as this, but probably a total pool of about £200K.)

    So we did the Jackpot, I think it was 192 lines at 50P, and we make it all the way to LEG 6.

    Didn't have all the technology that we do now, but I asked the lady on the tote if she could tell me how many units were left as we approached LEG 6.

    The answer "£1.50", and we had 3 selections in the last. so, I concluded, "JUST US!"

    Anyway, I'm like, "How can we stop this race?", basically if the race didn't take place and was void we get £100K right!

    So I said to my girlfriend jokingly, "Can you run out on the track or something, so it's declared void?" or, "We could do with a bomb scare".

    Clearly my girlfriend would have non of it, and we busted LEG 6. (Just can't get the loyalty lol =))

    So potentially lost £100K, but on the plus side, avoided a criminal record. :=)

    Lets hope Wolverhampton is kinder to us tomorrow.

    Thought I'd share that little story with you. Lets hope we can get WOLVERHAMPTON "justice", all these years later.

    I think there's quite a few peeps doing time for £100K...... saying that there's some doing time for £100!!!!!!
