Nice blog and definitely the most enjoyable (proper) live poker I've ever played in.
The success on numbers was the only thing close to a negative, it meant the casino had no chips left to let us play any SNGs on Saturday evening when Neil Channing was lining up to take our drunken money
Hope I get lucky enough to bink the chance to play in Brighton. Played my first ever live game there (not that I've played much) and got totally schooled by the locals... who were getting increasingly vocal at telling me how badly I was playing and frustrated at how I kept managing to outdraw them. Fingers crossed that sort of rungood is there again in November because Manchester reminded me how terrible I am at tournament poker!
Sounds like a blast. I played a Sky event many many years ago at Bury New Road casino in Manchester (was knocked out by some snooker player who ended up coming 3rd or 4th, can't remember his name. Also schooled Richard 'the boy' Orford in a SnG, lots of fun), enjoyed it massively but have never managed to attend any others due to various factors. Will endeavour to join in for Brighton, well done for bringing these back.

Very nice summary Tikay. It was fun wasn't it? I certainly enjoyed it. I think Doug is one of the most enthusiastic people working in the casino industry that I've ever met and his staff were all great. It's just a shame that the place isn't a little bigger and I understand they may expand soon. It did mean that space and chips weren't available for a nice side-event or some SnGs. Maybe we can get that going in Brighton?

I can see it, but presumably it has not been released yet, sorry.
Quite telling that I get more feedback when you can't read my Blogs....
Might have to do a Jac-style flounce.
Try again, does THIS work?

Yay, it appears to be visible to all now.
Eat yer heart out, Team Flounce.
