i asked mr channing about this previously and he gave me all sorts of excuses, i am a low stakes player and the slow rolling and slow play is getting worse, i can understand it when playing for big money but for a 75p head is laughable. if all on table take the alloted time thats 3 minutes a turn , what does turbo mean ? tbh im glad pompeynic got to the spt , i wouldnt be able to cope with stuff ive mentioned, and a bit back somebody wanted more time to decide , it must be me lol , if i have aa in a bh i jam ,actually lately i do it in all tournies, anyone tell me how to get over slow rollers with aa, and slow players in total please, plus it was ryan ( somebody) on sky tv scotty77 i think who said it was impossible to sit out and win a prize on sky poker he was proved wrong recently

To be honest, I am unsure as to why I am being mentioned in despatches here.
I do not play turbo anything, and, I do not think I have played against you recently, hardly played at all this week.
However , If I have somehow managed to upset you in some way, I most humbly apologise.

    Bolded bits.

After 7000 games I am not sure why you don't know what turbo means.
Blinds /levels go up quicker that standard games.

No idea why you mention Nic.

If you cant cope maybe drop a level or 5.

I guess you have been slow rolled by someone with AA maybe less table chat.

Worked up over someone making the cash in a free roll again drop a level but since free rolls are the bottom not sure what to recommend.

At least with all the lols and laughing you are still having fun.

You mention slow rolling and slow play. How do you know that slow rolling is not in fact just slow play?
Some people play many tables, others struggle with one table and use time when they play to make sure they make correct decisions. At low stakes how do you know its not someone using up their time to make sure they make a correct decision as they are inexperienced?

I think what he is referring to is someone timing down the clock in a freeroll to try min cash.

I do this myself sometimes but its not to annoy anyone its just to improvemy chance of winning something.

I can't imagine you have ever done anything at a poker table that requires an apology, Nick. Don't worry about it.

PS - Was great to see you in Manchester. You coming to Brighton?

    +1

Was nice to share a table with you in Manchester Nic (apart from you tanking for 15 minutes on every action and slowrolling me 8 times with the AA).

Just in case the OP, whose glass appears to be half empty, thinks I am being serious... Nic was a perfect gent on the tables and his table etiquette was certainly never brought into question.

Hi rhino when i'am not playing pl08 mtt i sometimes play turbo dym (£2-£5) to fill the time in there is not much slow rolling there each player as 13 seconds to decide and pot levels go up quickly can't understand your comment about' what does turbo mean ' its fast play and no slow rolling. Even if the players where taken there full 13 seconds is that really slow rolling?. My advice is chill out and enjoy the game players taken there full alloted time is always going to happen as mentioned multi tabling etc etc then there's me reading the paper online while playing a slow table. Gl on the tables

Mr Channing, sky pokers ambassador , has been vilified too.

Hes too mighty to step into these lower forums, but,  if word reaches his pious ears...doom switch....

Rhino, Hope you don't mind but I've started a new thread to discuss this wider issue in more detail as i think it is very important.
