Thank you Poker Gods!
Crikey, long time no see JingleMa, hope all is well with you.
Clearly recall a fun day we had back in 2011, at the GUKPT Walsall.
Your memory's too good Tikay!
Yes I loved that tournie, managed to luckbox my way to the bubble :-#
Glad to see you're still looking after things on Sky, I don't know where you get the energy.
Looks like you guys had a great SPT in Manchester, are you going to run any qualifying promos for Brighton?
I'll definitely have a crack if so, would be great to meet up and play in another Sky event.
I vividly recall that final - several good friends of mine were involved - Simon Deadman (who now lives the dream in Vegas with his wife, Shola), & Nick Hicks. It was, of course the famous Scotty77 Final, where he ran into a cab driver who was not buying Ryan's bluff.
SPT Brighton - I'm not sure if there will be any Promotions, but there will certainly be plenty of Satellites, starting on September 18th.
Be great to see you again in Brighton.
Ok cool, I'll keep an eye out.
No I'm a Londoner born and bred, originally from SE, but lived North of the river for many years. Now in Tottenham, who I support, so it's kind of worked out lol.
Glad to hear about Simon, it was his AQ calling my 3 bet AK shove which busted me, never forget the beats eh? ;-)
Hopefully we can catch up in Brighton or soon enough.
Never forget the beats? Some of them, no. As a general rule, they never bother me, just move on & remember that for every beat we get, we also outdraw someone else. But oddly, I still remember my exit in my first ever WSOP event, over 12 years ago, that one still stings even now. We were well in the money, but I had my eye on the Final Table.
It was like a poker cliché, when I jammed, & the Frenchie said "I must be miles behind. CALL". He was right, too, he had A-4 & I had A-J. I spent years muttering to myself, "mate, if you knew you were miles behind....."
Gotta love the psychology of poker.
See you in Brighton, hopefully.
