Russian Roulette Heads Up Sit & Go's

After looking through the Sit & Go lobby I came across a guy who was registered in a **** of a lot of these. Now of course they are a pure all-in-luck-fest, but the guy in question seems to be grinding these daily. Out of curiosity I decided to check his figures and he is down a substantial amount of money. However, I have noticed he is making priority regular, if not always. I have not played on Sky Poker for too long and don't fully understand how many priority points equal to x amount of money. I'd be interested if somebody on the forum could enlighten me on if this guys grind is really worth it, which I'm guessing it is or else why would he be doing it? I am unsure to how he could ever know how much money he is gonna lose at the felts alone before he even considers any form of rakeback.

Having shared many of your tables Omar and watched your close your eyes  button mashing style I think you should make the shift to rr's :)

Taking the pee obviously, by my calculations they lose about £700 a month which might be wrong so others can correct.

Using 1000 £11 rr's per month at 10 points per game. Using perfect 4 week month to simplify.

250 £11 dyms per week equals 2500 points per week at 2p rakeback gives them £50. So over the course of the month they make £200.

The priority return is 10% so they get a further £100. So total rakeback is £300.

Assuming they win exactly 50% of their games they simply lose the rake of £1000.

    Therefore net £700 loss.

During rake back promos like the premiership one they will make extra but no where near the £700 loss. Not a priority player so apart from a few free rolls not sure how much else they get.

Definitely isn't worth it. it's 10,000 points to make prio, and you get 50 points per £55 russian roulette, so have to play 200 x £5 rake= £1000, assuming you win 50% of them. The perks you get don't make it worthwhile. A few people use them as a quick point gain if they're just short of priority come the end of the month. The person in question may just enjoy the gamble of them, and prio is just a bonus.

I also find it amusing how hyper turbos are raked at 5% but RRs are at 10%.

Guess Sky know the clientelle of these formats don't care.

They are probbaly missing a trick and  could even higher.

I was actually asking about these to report back to you JD. I thought they would suit your punting/-ev style perfectly. Joking of course! Hope Mrs JD is well.

But in all seriousness I just found it intriguing how he was filling the lobby up with these games. I thought it would be something to do with priority but trying to calculate everything seems to be close to impossible imo. In terms of profit of course, not making priority.

The sit & go lobby is quite painful to look at when you see 1 player regged for 50+ RR games! Would be great if we could filter them out.
