Ladies and Gents - I'm starting tonight's show thread as Richard Orford has just got in! He's come back from the BFI in London after seeing Avatar for the first time, so if you've got any thoughts on the film, or any other film for that matter we'll make it or email topic for the night...

Also, ex Kent and England cricketer Min Patel is our studio guest - how awesome was Tendulkar yesterday making 200 in a one dayer. Any cricket questions send them in too!

We'll be covering the £1K at 9pm for about 30 minutes tonight so if you bust out the Bounty Hunter get into that and remember to send us your hand id's if you want a specific hand shown...

Over and out : )

I want him to answer the question "Why Is Johnathan Trott opening the batting for England in 20 20 cricket, when he seems to think a run a ball strike rate is acceptable??"

    drop him!

Here is my entry for the rubbish poetry competition

I've been to see Avatar, but thought it a bore
In a mark out of ten - I would give it a four

I'm a big fan of Kent and have always liked Min
I hope he plays well and the celebrity challenge he does win

I want to meet Lisa, on the tables tonight
If I do take her bounty, I'll be as high as a kite

If Rich reads this rubbish out - I'll buy him a drink
(at Luton) but having re-read it - that's unlikely I think

Those last lines were terrible - to the day job I'll have to go back
But good wishes, good luck and all the best from SoLack

I haven't seen Avatar yet but I believe the basic premise is that in the future the Smurfs, led by their chief - Papa Smuf, also know as Uncle Bulgaria, have a mission to rid the common of rubbish.  The sexy girl one, Smurfette aka Madame Cholet, leads the workers Tomsk, Orinoco, Brainy, Grouchy and Dreamy on their mission.  To their surprise they find  Sleeping Beauty in Pandora's Box guarded by the ferocious Bagpuss.  Luckily brave Tobermory kisses her and she awakens from her sleep.

    Sounds rubbish.

Slow and predictable plot, average acting - the interesting filming technique/graphics are not enough to save it.  One of the worst films ever to get nominated for best film oscar imo.  Best film of the last year was Inglourious Basterds.  Have never seen the other films youi mention so can't comment.
