Wow. This could be another snowball fiasco in the making.
    3 * £1.66 = £4.98. £5 - £4.98 = 2p.
Where are all those 2p's going? (Or does the top player get the extra 2p?).

With regard to the rake, the answer is simple; don't play them.
No-one is forced to play any game on SkyPoker.

    Morning Stokey.

"£3.30 DYM's" is where the confusion arises. They are £3 DYM's, & they carry a £0.30 Reg Fee, meaning they cost £3.30. It seems pedantic, but the difference is, like my jacket,  crucial. In poker, it's important not to confuse the Prize Pool with the Reg Fees.

If you won one & lost one, you would receive £6, having spent in total £6.60.

PS - How did you get on v Man City?

There's still one in the lobby at £1.15 so if you're quick you can still catch it. ;-)

I think it's rather good that they are at least trying out different formats. It's not easy to please when we live in a Mock & Knock society, but at least they are trying - very trying some days, I agree - & nobody is forced to play these quirky variants,. But many do, because it's just a bit of variety, a bit of fun.

There was a weird event at the end of TKO, where the Blinds went up - AND down! - which everyone thought was mad, but it was actually good fun, & offered an edge to anyone who could suss out a way of exploiting it.

We should encourage innovation, imo. Sometimes - maybe just 1 in 10 or 20 - these "daft ideas" turn out to be a real good idea.

    fair point
the chip n chairs are still going saw one the other day with 50+ people in so as you say it takes allsorts
i guess skypoker has 2,4,and 6 player sngs so your trying to get a workable 5 player format going although i cant see how they can make them any value paying 3 places.
so i will watch that space to see what other ways they try and then eventually i may try to get out more lol

Exactly. It might not be your or my cup of tea - in fact I think it's quite dreadful - but as you say, it takes all sorts, & we don't all like the same thing.

I don't like brussel sprouts, but that does not make them bad.*

    *But they are.
