Probably that scene from Rounders where Mike McD is telling Kinesh about when he ran a bluff on Johnny Chan at the Mirage.
If you keep track of the raise and reraising Mikey Boy runs out of chips before the river and even if he hadnt the big stack aint folding for whats left. Rubbish like this insults our intelligence.

Haha, yep. I watched Rounders the other day and that bit really stood out. Mike's earlier "reading" of hands at the lawyer's game is preposterous, too.
There was some weird film where the years of your life remaining were a currency, they were playing poker, one player goes all in and the other one had to fold the best hand because he didn't have enough life to call...
EDIT: remembered it slightly wrong, however if opponent had added an extra few seconds to his bet Timberlake would have died, and given the logic shown the person with the most life at the table could just go all in every hand and nobody could possibly call because the life is taken away before the end of the hand
Corrie. Be warned it's tense viewing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVODplDiD-k That Casino Royale (five-way I think) showdown is pretty... 'epic'... too Posted by NoseyBonk
As is the aftermath. Its a rebuy event not a cah game but using cash chips and plaques and at the end he chucks a $million plate to the dealer saying "This is for you" which the dealer accepts like hes either used to lifechanging tips or he knows its useless and Bond is a divvy.
For all Casino royale scene haters (including me) you need to know who to blame. My old "friend" and ex PNL and Sky Poker TV presenter Caspar Berry who was an advisor for the scene (and is even proud of that fact). Posted by Phantom66
Correct, & so was "Dr" Tom Sambrook, another PNL Analyst.
