You need to be logged in to your Sky Poker account above to post discussions and comments.
You might need to refresh your page afterwards.
Sky Poker are keen to involve you all in exactly how it is set up with regards to what Boards & Threads we should have, & so will be taking your views on board. The new software is what it is, but the look & feel as to what Boards & Threads we can have, & where they sit, can & will take on your feedback.
In the next few posts, I’ll outline the approximate timeline, what you need to do, & when.
Please be assured that all of the existing Content on the old Forum WILL be retained & re-appear on the new Forum, except some Boards which have fallen into disuse. These will either be merged with other Boards & Threads, or deleted. Clearly, it’s an opportune moment to tidy up the Forum generally, & make it more user friendly.

Timeline
Thursday 19th October until Monday 23rd October.
We will post a link to new Forum Software tomorrow, Thursday 19th.
It will mirror the Content of the existing forum, as of a few months ago, which was when the bulk of the Content was migrated from the old forum.
It will be “read only” with one exception – a thread called “New Forum – Feedback, Questions, and Comments”. You will be able to post on that single feedback thread on the new Forum as soon as the link is published this Thursday. Myself, or someone from The Business, will reply where necessary to any questions including questions such as “how do I do this?” on the new Forum.
Monday 23rd October
The existing Forum will disappear. Please note, for Monday ONLY, you will not have access to either the new or the old forum, including the Feedback Thread. So if you are running Comps or the like (DTD etc) please bear this in mind. To reaffirm, there will NOT be any Forum available next Monday, for around 24 hours.
Tuesday 24th October.
At some stage on Tuesday, once the up to date Content Migration has been completed, the new Forum will be open for you to use. When you select “Forum” on Sky Poker, you will be automatically directed to the new Forum.
This timetable is Plan A, but you know how it is with software, sometimes dates move, so please be patient if they do.
What do you need to do now?
Nothing, really.
However, please note that whilst all Content on the old Forum will migrate across to the new Forum, the existing Personal Message service will NOT transfer across. So all your PM’s will disappear, never to be seen again. if you wish to keep records of incoming or outgoing Personal Messages from the old Forum, please take copies of them BEFORE MONDAY. The new Forum will, of course, have a Personal Message Service, but it will start afresh as of next Tuesday as it is not compatible with the old Forum software.
The only other thing which will be lost is your existing Forum Avatars. The new Forum will just have a blank Avatar until you upload your own Avatar. It’s quick & easy to upload a new Forum Avatar, I was able to do mine in less than 15 seconds. It’s that easy.
This thread is now going to be LOCKED, as we want all feedback, comments & questions to be on the new Forum Software, on the Feedback Thread.
A link to the new Forum will be posted on this Thread on Thursday. You will see the Feedback Thread & we encourage your questions, though remember, the rest of the new Forum will remain READ ONLY until next Tuesday.
The new Forum is now OPEN as described above.
It is READ ONLY until early next week EXCEPT for the NEW FORUM FEEDBACK Board, which contains the "New Forum - Questions, comments & feedback" thread, which you are invited to use with immediate effect.
Please note it still requires some tidying up & re-organisation. This will need to wait until the Content Migration is completed next week.
So, the link that gets you there is......

Reminder - the changeover to the new Forum will take place between Noon on Monday & Tuesday afternoon.
