Hi Everyone,

As hopefully you have all seen we have a fantastic blogs section in the community, with some great examples from tikay, Richard Orford and Michelle Orpe to name but a few.
This is all well and good but the true Sky Poker Community is all about YOU our users, so we have decided to open our loving blogging arms and invite some of you to write blogs and publish them on our site.

What you have to do
If you are interested in writing a blog and feel you could make at least one new entry every week for a month then just give me a shout on this thread. We will pick up to 4 people based on their community contribution so far and all of these 4 people will receive some cool rewards. We will also pick an overall winner at the end of August based on the popularity of the blog, number of comments and quality of the entries.

What to blog about?
You can blog about....just about anything, that is the beauty of blogs. It could be poker themed, about your sports team, the weather or even your pet cat (just check out tikay's latest entry!). All we want are interesting blogs that our users will enjoy reading.

If this trial goes well then we will continue to do something similar every month.

Please post here if you are interested and we will make our selections in the next week or so.

    I'd love to do it but i go on holiday for a week on saturday, any chance i could give it a shot after that?

    That shouldn't be a problem you could just start when you get back. let me gauge how many people want to do this, then i'll make an announcement about who we have chosen.

    Hi Rich,

    I would be up for doing this weekly. Mapping the trials and tribulations of having an ultra competitive fiancee who is learning about poker and my own perspective on playing and poker in our life in general as a couple and any moments that, shall we say cause issues lol. Also could get Alana to write from her point of view as well.

    I'd be up for a bit of that if you need more.

    Might give me the kick up the you know what to resurrect my old blogspot blog and get it running.

    I play live at least once a week so would it be ok if selected to coment on those games as well as life , the universe & everything ?

    I'd even consider playing a few MTTs  :)

    Hi Rich .. Well i had sort of started with the thread  "X Files"  !! ( Not so much a blog, more of a kind of doodling)
      I was going to include Horse Racing, along with funny strange stories   but i can do poker, my problem is...?  
    How can i say this .. ?   Strong  terminology,  with psychiatric tendencies until the alcohol kicks in......

    Then were cool,   were fine ....until the noises in my head start !!

    Too boring... we don't need blogs from normal people, we want people who've done stuff, like been to Vegas for the WSOP and been cheered on by underlings etc..etc..
