As there seem to be a lot of emotionally charged posts flying around different threads at the moment about TP, I thought I would offer a personal, honest, unbiased(ish!) view in the hope it may generate sensible discussion. SHARKSBITE.....Up to a year ago I considered Naomi to be a good MTT/STT player. Then she had the 2nd place in the Vegas final, just missing out on Vegas but giving a huge boost to her BR. I think this has given the confidence and opportunity to play higher levels in cash and develop her game further, and now she is an excellent all round player. Anybody who thinks she would be overawed sitting down at a WSOP table is mistaken. DANTB........Dan cant be written off as a cash table specialist, hes been to Vegas before successfully, and has good live experience. When he does play MTTs here,he is hard to beat. In fact from a personal view he has invariably beaten me! I am also impressed by the dignity of his posts in the forum. GLITERBABE.......I may be biased here because he was selected in front of me in the first cut,but I know him as a good player in all formats. But he has not done anything spectacular yet and it could be said that he has been lucky to get through because of yipees banzai tactics ! He probably knows he will have to step it up in the next stage and I wish him luck. DOHHHHHHH.......Where did this guy spring from ? Seems to play all formats with an equally refreshing style. I have always found him a gent in the chatbox. Obviously a good poker brain.Perhaps needs to show the ability to not bite when provoked. One concern is that I believe that he has very limited live experience? If so he needs to rectify that. I also believe that there is an image of him being Tikays favourite which some people are not comfortable with. SPARCE........In my opinion the jury is still out on this one! He has lots of supporters who know he has an awesome cash game. I certainly would not wish to go h/up cash with him. But I have yet to see that talent brought fully into tourneys and STT. Having played him myself in STT and watched him particularly against Phil I have doubts. I know he plays live a lot and would have no problems in big events. NUTTER........Ben has a great record, 2008 was a huge year for him according to sharkscope.Our paths have crossed many times in STT and a couple of times live. I have always been comfortable playing against him because he has always played correct poker and I can use that against him ! I think he may have gained a lot from working with his mentor and added even more to his formidable game.
