I'll raise a Pint of GUINNESS to him this weekend......R.I.P. Rutger
So sad about Barry McGuigan's daughter....... you just have to enjoy yourself whilst your here
I liked Rutgar, I loved the line he says in the Guinness ad where he said "talk amongst yourselves I maybe some time " When off me head that's what I used to say to the lads, great times RIP
I thought the way he played The Hitcher was superb and created a template for many horror / suspense baddies. He could convey menace with a mere facial expression.

Former England cricket captain Bob Willis dies aged 70
Every paper pays tribute to Bob Willis - the former England cricket captain and commentator, who has died at the age of 70. The Guardian and Daily Mirror call him the "hero of Headingley", while the Daily Express describes him as a "true legend". The Telegraph says he was "a fierce competitor with a heart of gold." A colleague at Sky, Nasser Hussain, tells the Mail that Bob Willis was nothing like his somewhat grumpy persona on TV. Instead, Hussain says he was a model professional, a fun loving person who was quite shy.

Very sad news.
Ron was a big name back in the day, just as famous & charismatic then as Jose, Pep & Co are these days.
RIP Ron.
