Would you eat grey squirrel lasagne? A restaurant owner at London's Borough market describes how he uses culled grey squirrels to produce a sustainable white meat.
Quote Supermarkets have also began selling squirrel, but some ethical groups are asking if it's right to eat the animals.
Yes it is ethical IMO, their only saving circumstances are they are cute and children wave at them whilst being encouraged by adults.
It's ethical ...but why the he ll anyone would want to eat a tree rat , is beyond me ...used to talk to someone in West Virginia years ago ..and it was a pretty common dish for them .
Scottish shopkeeper sells vintage cans of Irn Bru for £4 each
When the makers of the iconic Scottish soft drink Irn Bru announced they were altering the recipe last year, one forward-thinking Glasgow shopkeeper decided to stockpile cans with the original recipe and now she's reaping the rewards.
Shugfta Ahmed, 53, claims customers are now travelling hundreds of miles to down the classic drink.
At the start of last year Ahmed initially purchased ten pallets of the traditional recipe - each holding 80 cases - but when these ran out she managed to source more cans online and now the mum-of-four regularly welcomes fizz fans who are happy to pay £3.99 for the sweet treat.
Ahmed told the Scottish Sun: "Our customers go mad for it — they have been so happy that I've been able to get my hands on the real deal.
"But recently I've had to put up the price per can because the cost to source it in has gone up a lot.
Dead US mayor makes it through to final round in election
One of the candidates to be the mayor of a US city has made it to the final round of an election - even though he died in December.
In a three-horse primary in Edmond, Oklahoma, Charles Lamb finished second behind Dan O'Neil, who described it as "sort of awkward".
Mr Lamb, who had been mayor since October 2011, put his name forward for re-election before he died.
When he passed away, it was too late to remove his name from the ballot or to add anyone else.
Were he to win on 2 April, a mayor would be appointed by Edmond City Council.
Mr O'Neil, who served one term as mayor from 2007-2009, said there were "people advocating for his election for their political reasons ... they want to be mayor".
A Facebook campaign supporting Mr Lamb was led by Edmond resident Michelle Schaefer, who referred journalists' questions to councillor Nick Massey.

A customer who called a bank to apply for a loan was told "all vegans should be punched in the face".
The Bristol woman, who did not want to be named, went to NatWest for a loan to pay for a £400 nutrition diploma.
The application was rejected but after listening to a recording of the call, NatWest offered to pay for the course.
The bank said the outburst - which came after the woman told the bank worker she was a vegan - was "wholly inappropriate".
NatWest also offered the woman compensation of just under £200.
