bigballoo has peeled from a sub 10bb stack, james can be isolating relatively wide here (I assume its a bounty hunter), you really can't simply call.
1 bigballoo can put the rest of his stack over the line then you will likely face James overshoving.
2 going 3 way to the flop (as it panned out) actually also leaves you in an awkward spot

I think you should 4 bet or even shove to ISO shorty.

folding pre with 99 is too tight especially against one raiser 6 handed, if this is a bounty then one plan is to shove to iso the short stack, calling then folding with one over card to a dry flop isn't great considering villain is going c-bet 90% of the time, you don't have the odds to call just to hit a set which I believe that was your initial plan, the raiser could easily have AK,AQ,AJ,AA,KK,QQ,55,66,77,1010,JJ,plus suited connectors, you probably folded the best hand,problem for the future is if your going to fold 99 with that flop then you are going to do the same with 88,66,55,99,AK,AQ which is way to tight and easy to exploit

I 3bet get it in. Limp is generally dead money and we have a monster hand blind vs blind. 9s is very very strong in this situation
