Pre game rituals, superstitions etc.

At the beginning of each session, when I register for the MTTs that I intend to play that evening, I HAVE to have the tournament lobbies in EXACTLY the same place on the screen everytime. If I don't then I believe it will bring me bad luck (okay just read that back and I think I may have issues).

My missus saw me doing this last night and called me strange lad but I have been doing it for as long as I can remember and it's become a bit of a ritual for me now.

It got me thinking and I'm hoping there are more freaks out there who have similar habits that they have to do before each session for fear of bad luck? If not then I shall make arrangements to see a shrink asap.

Usually a couple of kebabs and 3 pizzas.

Can't play on an empty stomach.

I don’t look at the payouts but will check how many places pay, I won’t open the lobby when Itm and I won’t close the pop ups on the sky site once I have registered for all the Mtts I want to play.... not superstition I’m just a bit strange I guess

Every tournament has its own individual place on the screen every single session. So the Main is ALWAYS top left, mini top middle etc. Tend to have bigger prize games on top row and lower stakes, turbos and stuff on the bottom row. Means when quickly looking between tables I know what game it is because it's in its rightful place.

I have a similar pre game meal as harry, although I'm up to 4 pizzas now. Lightweight.

I forgot to add, I'll order some takeaway in the break of the first MTT.

A goat is slaughtered, I drink the blood of the goat and spend 20minutes chanting

Having seen your results on Sharkscope I'm now straight off to the market to get me some goats. Should make for an interesting conversation with the other half when I return :)

I try and make sure that my daughter and son start arguing on the bubble of any early MTTs or alternatively encourage my wife to start a conversation any time I am facing a tricky decision

Hendo wins the prize - that's dedication of the highest order.

    Talking to his wife.

Oh god I hate this. It seems to always end in disaster when someone starts talking to me during a tricky spot (even if all the chips are already in). I have the multi tasking skills of someone in their late 100s.

The worst one of the lot is if the phone goes and I need to answer it. Just a couple of minutes trying to converse on the phone and I suddenly do not have any tourneys to worry about.

Most successful ritual/tip I could offer is to have a nap before a session.

It makes a lot of sense why this would help too.

I could ramble on for a couple of pages about that if I was the sort who was inclined to rambled on a lot.

I've suffered some horrendous luck throughout the whole of mini Ukops thus far. My tournament lobbies were all situated in the right place on the screen so I don't know what's going on.

Might have to try 5 pizzas tonight cos 4 clearly ain't working. Also, anybody selling any cheap goats?

Ok, I play the same format STT and buyin as first game every night, must have a certain (fav) number in tourney number, if I win that then I convince myself it will be a winning night (doesn't always work)

Here is the game tonight, sigh, lost to head goat
