Very nice too, well done all.

Nice surprise this. I didn't make priority in November so assumed I wouldn't be in the draw for this today - it took me a while to work out what was 'wrong' with my account balance when I logged in earlier :).

As someone who officially sucks at tourneys, this certainly get a thumbs up from me instead of the old priority freerolls!

I was one of the lucky winners too.

However, I'm surprised that the non-winners haven't complained that a non-priority member won a prize.

I wonder how many other players were wrongly entered into the draw too?

Had I not won, I know I certainly would not have been happy with this situation.

    Very honest of Duesenberg btw.

It was for people that made 10k points in October.

I think this is more a case of a bit of confusion regarding qualifying dates/times rather than a mistake on behalf of Sky. My guess is that it works something like this:

I made 10k+ points in October which means I held priority status for the month of November. The draw on December 1st was for all those who held priority status during November. If I make 10k points in December and regain priority status, I will be entered into the draw for the 1st February but will not have qualified for the draw on January 1st as I made less than 10k points in November.

Would be good to have this clarified by someone from Sky though. For example, if I make 10k points this month and also find myself in the January draw then there is a bit of a flaw in the system - you could in theory be entered into every draw by only making priority every other month in that case.

P.S. I'm not trying to protect any ill-gotten gains here and would happily hand my prize back if rewarded in error!

    seanallen is correct.

Earning 10,000 points in OCTOBER gets you in Priority Club in NOVEMBER. Duesenburg presumably 10,000 points or more in October, so he earned a "raffle ticket" for every day he played in November.

    That's my understanding.

He WAS a Priority Member in November, so he was not incorrectly entered in the draw.

    PS - Congrats on winning.

I presume you earned 10,000 points in October so that made you a Prio Club Member in November.

Thanks for the follow up Tikay (and for the congrats too!).

Just to clarify one thing if you can though. If I made 10k points by the 20th of December, would I then receive tickets into the January draw for any play from the 21st-31st of December? It's not 100% clear whether you become a priority member from the moment you hit 10k points or if it strictly starts from the beginning of the following month. I'm not angle shooting here - just curious.

I would imagine Prio Club only works in blocks of calendar months, so you will earn 10,000 points in December, which puts you in Prio in January, & then you start earning tickets for the draw on 1st February.

I'll check for you though, but that's my read.

I expect that to be the case but this thread prompted a little OCD itch that needed scratching :)

You dont become a prio member till the end of the month. Thats when it determines what priority league your in. So im guessing they wont count untill the 1st which is when your first day of priority begins. Some could make 10k in a couple of days but tickets wont start till the 1st.

    EDIT Congrats btw :D
