I've recently been mixing in a bit of play on other sites and was wondering if I'd be in danger of falling foul of any Sky T's and C's by using third party software for those other sites whilst logged into Sky at the same time?
More specifically I'm referring to the use of Pokertracker. This program relies on downloadable hand histories so is useless on Sky but a must if I want to play on other sites with a level playing field. Would I be at risk of a ban from Sky for having pokertracker running on my system whilst playing on multiple sites at the same time (even though pokertracker can serve no purpose for Sky specifically)?

I can't give you an "official" response, but I'd not worry about it if I were you.
You don't, & can't, use it on Sky Poker so I can't see the issue.
I would hazard a guess that many of the players here, especially the "bigger" players do exactly the same as you, & I'd never heard of an instance where any of them have been banned or warned by Sky Poker.
In, say, the Sunday Major, many of the players must be on several other poker sites at the same time, & using Poker Tracker or HEM on those other sites.
I appreciate that your response is not official but good to hear that this won't instantly lead to sirens going off at Sky HQ and the poker police bashing down my front door
Thanks guys
Setting yourself up for the 'conspiracy' theorists there Matt !
I've had PT4 running to play elsewhere while also playing on Sky, and never had a problem.
