monthly leaderboard

have sky ever considered or had a monthly mtt leaderboard [with cash prizes for the winners]

used to play on a site that had them [many years ago] points were giving out to a percentage of the field [depending on finishing position] in any mtt that had 30 or more starters, the higher the buy in the more points were given out,

don't know if sky would consider it or not ?

they could even give it a try by using only the main and the mini each night, stick £1 on the buyin/rake on the main and stick 50p buyin/rake on the mini all those extra £1,50 would add up to a very good prizepool at the end of each month for the top leaderboard finishers.[sure aussie could tell us the exact amounts]

I don't recall whether Sky Poker have ever had an MTT Leaderboard, but I've no idea if they have ever considered one. It's likely they have considered one, but I don't know.

I'll certainly pass the feedback upstairs, as I do with all (credible) feedback.

I'm afraid that kite would never fly.

Doubling rake on the Mini & increasing rake on the Main by 30% would cause a hoohah of immense proportions imo.

There used to be a poker league, for cash/SNG and MTT. Used to payout cash and then when the TSP promotion was introduced, it switched to a qualifier for a TSP place. I moved from playing cash to MTT to get into the softer qualifier tournie.

Even tho the poker league hasn’t run for 5 years, for some reason it still has a place on my account page. Maybe it will come back.

Personally feel that on a site like Sky a MTT leaderboard wouldn’t work, even tho it would benefit me. Something for Sky to think about tho, I’m sure they could come up with a fair and fun promo.

I would be keen for obvious reasons but not sure it would encourage rec players or make many players increase volume.

Maybe if it awarded points based on playing and then top x results counted towards the leaderboard. Just want something so people don't feel like they have to play all the time but also something to encourage players to play.
