SPT Luton, the third leg of the 2009-10 SPT series, begins at 2pm this Saturday 150 runners, battling for £15,000 in prize money and a £4,000 first prize. Looking at the runners, it looks to me the strongest field of the series to date. We have the likes of LJamesL, Sharksbite, Sparce and DOHHHHH attending with the other Total Players for example, as well as other regular Sky Poker winners. It's going to take some winning! The Live update will bring you all the action from Luton, major hands, chip counts, stories and observations and we welcome your interaction. So ask after your friends, rail your favourites and I will keep you in touch. Competition time. At Luton two Sky Poker presenters will be playing, Trevor Harris and Lisa-Marie Long. To win entry into a Sunday night £15k GTD PRIMO MTT on Sky Poker all you have to do is tell me: What will be their combined finishing position? Nearest wins For example Trevor finishes 40th, Lisa-Marie 20th, your answer is 60. In the event of multiple correct answers the tiebreaker is: At what time will the last hand of the tournament conclude? Some clues In SPT Newcastle Presenter DP Fitzferald finished a creditable 18th In SPT Manchester Ed Giddins and Richard Orford finished an uncreditable 95th and 99th Both events finished between 12am and 1am Good luck in the Live Update competition, and please join me if you are not at Luton on Saturday. anything for second as i had 82!!!!! sums my weekend up!good weekend but shocking luck at luton soz meant 83
A big thank you from me to all at Sky for making yesterday so enjoyable. A little disappointed not to have won it having had a huge stack, but well done to Ross. On the final table I took a big hit to my momentum when my QQ ran into Phils KK and then went really card dead and never got going again. But I know I played some good stuff to get myself there, and had a great time on the way. I had some good players on my tables including James and Ben ( for the third live tourny in a row !) and of course Phil which is always an enjoyable challenge. It was also brilliant to meet some really lovely people. Had a long chat with some guy I had never seen before and only found out later it was the boxer Johnny Nelson. Micky Hazard was on my table for some time and his poker hasnt yet reached the same level as his football did but for his first live event did great to cash and was a real gent. I also had the pleasure of sharing table with Kitty Lea. I have no idea who she is, but she is really cute and far too sweet to make it as a poker player! Still feel guilty about calling Dollie with my suited 53 against his very shortstacked AK. Poker is a cruel game sometimes and to suffer so bad a beat so cheerfully right on the bubble showed his class. I can also confirm that LML is even more stunning in real life than she is on TV, and Nutty Tart is totally nutty. Congrats to Dan,David and Ben in TP,all worthy winners. Commiserations to Wayne ,Naomi and Dohh too, its hard to appreciate the difficulty of performing under the pressure of the competition and you should hold your heads up high. Look forward to meeting you all at the next live event, I may miss Glasgow but will definitely do Swansea and Nottingham. Tony

Well done to Ross and all of the final tablists, for a fantastic effort on Saturday. It was a real pleasure to meet a lot of you and we hope to see you at future legs of the Sky Poker Tour.
The final images from Luton will be added to the gallery later this evening.
Wp Guys especially Penguin and Phil great stuff! I liked the AA hand Penguin when you and the other guy tried trapping me and ended up getting into a huge pot with eachother :-D as I sat back and watched with some popcorn!

Thank you James. When I first saw the seat draw and realised I had a legend to my left I knew I would have to play a bit ! That AA was important as it gave me the chips to make the call against you later, which was borderline. If I lost it I still had a playable stack, but as it was I was able to relax a bit. My only regret about the night was missing out on the fun and games afterwards, as I had come down on the day and had to drive home.

Looks like the poker gods didn't punish you for that horrific slow roll on me Tony!! Jokes aside WP sounds like you were on a roll until those queens.
See you all in Glasgow.
Les.
