I my have read your first question incorrectly, but it struck me as rhetorical. I don't know the answer, to be honest, but now that the decision has been made - as widely & repeatedly mentioned on this Forum by me - to have a completely new set of software later this year, the amount of resource allocated to resolving current glitches is limited, for obvious reasons.
Apologies for not replying earlier, but as I said, it struck me as rhetorical. My bad.
Any clues on what this involves and possible timescales. Is it a complete overhaul or a tinkering.
It's very possible that at the next SPT &/or the one after, players will be able to look at it & "have a play" though.
It's neither a "complete overhaul" or "tinkering" - it's a clean sheet of paper jobbie, all nice & shiny new.
Does it begin with a vowel or consonant ?
Yup, it begins with either a vowel or a consonant.
Whilst it's good to hear something completely new is in the pipeline, I do find myself slightly apprehensive about it (better the devil you know and all that). I just hope it's not the start of a radical new direction for the site - anonymous tables, removal of player notes, fast fold (zoom) cash games... etc.
I am interested to see if ante's are going to be introduced though and then, ultimately, how this may (or may not) affect those players who have perhaps only played exclusively on Sky for a number of years (or who play very little elsewhere).
