2017 was a fantastic poker year for me, full of the usual highs and lows but thanfully far more highs.

    Online

2017 was my best year results wise online mainly due to a $29k score on another site.
My Sky results where very dissapointing, Sharkscope shows a profit of just over £4k but I know I've let myself down with lack of studying, poor game selection etc.
I can and will improve in this regard.

    Live

2017 was by far by my best year for live poker experience wise, if not results wise (just over (£4.5k profit).
Some highlights were the Partypoker millions having Max Silver and David Vamplew (2 really nice blokes) on my direct left all day and still making day two, the Irish open (my favourite tournament) which was just unreal and can't be recommended enough.

    Vegas baby!

I was lucky enough to win a Viva Las Vegas package and it was definetly the highlight of the year. Meeting up with all the sky staff and players, staying at the Palazzo, playing at (and cashing) in the WSOP and winning the first ever live tourney I played in Vegas were all experiences that I'll always remember. I truly can't thank Sky enough.

    SPT's

I attended both SPT's, Manchester and Brighton and had a ball at both. Meeting up with all the regs is great fun even if it is not so great for my liver.

    Poker holiday

Every year I'm lucky enough to go on a short break away with some great friends I've met through Sky poker and in 2017 we went to Malaga. Suffice to say we had a great time but as they say what happens in Malaga stays in Malaga.

Hi TK, think my year has been ok, worse than I hoped for as I am a positive person
and always think I will run well....should know better by now !
Highlights where a great live run at the start of the year at local, including a APAT
package to Vegas ( which I had to sell on as clashed with an annual lads trip to Amsterdam ) and a chop at the last 4 players in my 1st seniors event in the Irish open.
Also got to say Sky bringing back the SPT has got to be a highlight.
The low point just missing a package to Punta Cana on Party P.

I expected this kind of backlash after we ended your run.
No one is stopping you from posting all the highlights from your year.

    Happy too, though.

2017 was fairly good for me, had a great December so got close to that youngster @loololollo but he managed to pip me to first on scope and he deserved first.
Managed to win my first main of the year in December having had a few second places. Winning the £220 HR was great both for the money and for pride of beating a tough field and secured me my second bracelet.
Vegas was great fun, sky do a really good job with the Vegas experience and with the numbers of people they get over there.

Did you do OK? - Poker priorities for me in 2017 were not about churning a short term profit. They were to start laying the foundations in life so that I can have a big push at some major live events in the coming years. I literally have not even looked at profits across any sites I play as this was not a concern for 2017.

Better or worse than hoped? - Managed to tick way more boxes than I could have hope for in relation to the above. The medium/long term plan is, for now at least, firmly on track.

2017 poker highlight? - Viva Las Vegas time in the summer. In particular, getting to chat to the delectable Sofia Lovgren, the legend that is @Tikay10 showing me the ropes and letting me loose behind the scenes at the WSOP.

2017 poker lowlight? - That AA losing to KK all in preflop very late in the VLV qualifier, effectively for a WSOP main event package.

Steady year for me on the whole, made a decent profit playing dyms, moved up from £5 to £11.

Only started playing live in the last couple of years and managed a couple of wins plus numerous final tables in my local casino in Blackpool. Hoping for bigger and better in 2018
