I was going to show you all a song about how God will mess with your head, but I decided it was probably inappropriate on a forum where people rely on the luck of the Gods so much in their daily lives. The fact remains however, that "John R Butler" was perfectly correct in his assessment of what will happen if you dare to disobey a God, and he really will flap "you up".

John Butler's friend Ray had no right to break his neighbours fence under any circumstances, except to help access to emergency services. Cursing and drinking is never an excuse for damaging property! God went and messed Ray up because that was the best way to make him see the error of his ways, and obviously, those sheep over there will probably benefit from being less "worried" as a result.

This is just my personal opinion, and you will have to decide for yourselves if God was right to introduce him to, and allow him to marry, a Presbyterian.

WAS GOD RIGHT ? YOU DECIDE.

It certainly is Goldon. Why God allowed fermentation is completely beyond me, unless it was the only way that certain essential nutrients could be manufactured. Yeast and distillation has a lot to answer for, I can tell you!
Lot's wife was probably drunk at least some of the times her indiscretions occurred too! Do try to keep the faith Goldon, you know it makes sense.

Sorry Goldon, I had to edit it, John R Butler is the actual blaspheme that wrote and performed the song, and I wouldn't be surprised to find that he and his "friend named Ray" are one and the same person! There seems to be a few inconsistencies in this song imo! Such as "I used to have a friend named Ray" --- Why is "Ray" no longer his friend? He must have given up walking that evil way when he married a Presbyterian, and yet John now no longer sees him as a friend? There is something strange going on here and I am going to get to the bottom of it even if have to go to America myself!!

In those day's, turning people into a pillar of society was very dangerous, look what happened to Jesus, perhaps salt was a safe alternative?
