Software issue?

Using Safari on my Mac and since weekend I have only been able to play on four tables. The fifth just tries to load and thats it.

    Craig I use Macbook, 6 tables this evening, using download client.

    I am not aware of anyone else complaining about this issue Craig. Normally, for something like this, the Contact Centre get plenty of complaints, & then a round robin e-Mail is sent to the Poker Team. As far as I am aware, this has not happened.

    It might make sense to report it to CC, then the Poker Team will be asked to comment.

    I actually have the same thing but only started playing on browser recently so just assumed it was normal.

    I really don't know, to be honest, I've not used the Broswer for years.

    I'll ask the Team tomorrow, but I can't do much about it today.

    I always use browser. The Download Client is always laggy for me. Cards dont move across the screen smooth and always a slight delay which annoys me :D

    I've had the client crash multiple times this last week when playing lots of tables. It must have cost me at least 3 or 4 games and that's 30 - 40 quid gone just like that. Not good enough.

    I don't know if there is an error log somwhere that can be looked at?

    Ahh, single "L", sorry.

    Memo to self ; W pronounced as V, & a single L.

    I once mistakenly misread a players name on the TV Show, the name came down my crackly earpiece, & I misheard it, understandably.

    I thought they said "Geraldgirl" but in fact it was "Gerardirl".

    What a difference a g makes - the chap - who is a very nice chap & a good virtual friend - never let me forget that one mistake, & still mentions it now from time to time. 8 years on.

    Its an interesting psychological point, how it disturbs us so when our name is spelt incorrectly.

    Sorry to hear that @Liftman , but I'm not aware of any new issue which would cause these multiple crashes, there would have been plenty of Forum comment if there were I would have thought.

    Are you on Browser or Download, desktop or mobile etc?

    I'm playing on the downloadable client on a PC. I did get some kind of Flash error a couple of weeks ago about a sandbox violation or something. So anyway I reinstalled both Flash and Sky poker and it seemed okay. But then this last week when playing lots of tables it would occasionally freeze and then crash. It has done it at least 5 or 6 times.

    By the time you get 10+ tables restarted 5 minutes can have gone by and in a Turbo DYM that's a lifetime. You either blinded down on the bubble or sat out when you could have shoved / called with a big hand you were dealt. Costing you the most likely win.

    I too play on the DC on a PC.
    Rarely any problem but twice in last few days, it has crashed.
    Tables freeze then a window pops up saying skypoker has stopped working, windows is trying to rectify it (not exact wording).
    I just close and open the browser for speed but I only had 2 or 3 tables open.

    Yes that is exactly what happens. Freeze then a window pops up followed by a crash.

    I have tried the browser before but unfortunately had problems there too. To the point where some Sit n Go's simply don't open and you don't even know about it if you are busy playing lots of tables. Lost money there too, good job I'm rich lol.
