cards dipped

Is the glitch going to be sorted of when your cards dip to indicate a losing hand, Late in a tournament yesterday when all in 3-3 v , 2-2 ( hand not important) maybe a lag but it looked like my cards dipped a split second before the 2 hit the river, Very annoying but same result i suppose

    Hi Puma,

    I've not discussed this with the office, but I think it's about a 1/33 shot that Sky Poker would invest money & resource on the current software trying to eradicate this problem. It's just not cost-effective, as the new software is in progress.

    Pardon me asking, & I'm not being a smart Alec, but why exactly does it matter? It does not affect the result, does it?

    BHs have a related issue too where the bounty sometimes increases before the river - I've seen people say it's anticlimactic and ruins the sweat when they see that their bounty has increased before the river card is displayed, so they know they've held/got there/whatever.

    Doesn't bother me personally as I'm usually making decisions on other tables rather than sweating a flip. But can see the frustration for some.

    Perhaps I'm being unreasonable here, but it strikes me as a real "first world" problem, that.

    Can't we just not look?

    It's a really interesting one for the phycologists though. Wonder what they'd make of our discontent on the matter?

    Good morning to you Tikay, Just having a moan Sir, It comes with age apparently, My other half says i'm getting more like that guy off the sky gold channel every day ( i don't believe it Meldrew ), It makes no difference to the result obviously but as evil said, Looking forward to the new software update, Any ideas when this will be introduced ?
    P.S can we have a turn off button for the annoying tournament pop ups, Only joking i've solved this by leaving the lobby on my laptop and moving the games to my multi monitors :D , Have a good day Sir

    The highest point of the gamble is not the actual win but the point just before - the anticipation. If we are deprived of the river card buzz the software is taking away a very important part of the experience. That's why it MATTERS.
