Strange that Twitter user would reference him by his middle name and not as Barack, or Obama, or the President.

When I say strange, I mean not strange, cos we know exactly why they've called him by his middle name.

Has the name become a slur ......... is that what you infer.

If his middle name was Dave, do you think they would have called him that?

You know as well as I do why they called him Hussein.

Why do you think that far right moron in the tweet called him Hussein and not by his first or last name?

    Enlighten me.
  • goldongoldon Member Posts: 8,988
There is nothing wrong in the name "Hussein" nothing insulting or disrespectful.
Completely the opposite, Great men were called Hussein. see above.
His Parents gave him the middle name, he is obviously proud of it being African American, the American people had no reason not to elect him as President because of it, so why do you find it offensive.

Well as I'm the "Idiot" (quote) having to explain to you ( and I can ) WHY poster used Obama middle name.
I need you FIRST to explain WHY you think the name HUSSEIN is a problem.

Toot Toot, this is you're thread, do you want to explain it to " Clouseau"

Earlier this year I had letters from my fridge manufacturer informing me the warranty on my fridge was coming to and end. Two weeks after it ran out, the fridge developed a huge crack by the hinge on the door.
Two days ago, 21st, I’m having trouble with my Worcester boiler, so I look up to see when it was installed.
Installed on the 21st Nov 2014, with a five year warranty. 👀

A few years ago ,I used to a bit of metal fabrication work, we used to make tills.

The same tills you see till operators carrying when they start their shift.

    like this.

We had a quality contol department , they would take a random - freshly fabricated till- clamp the base down, fix a sucker to the lid and some mechanical contraption would open and close the lid twice every second, all day, all week, it kept going whilst we all slept at night.

They had a camera watching it too.

Eventually , the hinge went or the locking mechanism or something else.

The machine had a counter, they knew how many opens and closes that till could handle to within a few hundred opens and closes.

All companies test all their parts in similar ways.

They know how long every part should last, hence limited warranties.

    Something like this.

It depends who the customer was.

    B&Q ?
They want you to buy another in 2 years so it would be flimsy.

Chelsea home end early exit gate?

It would have to fit for mass exodus.
