I've just won a seat into tonight's main and unregistered because I thought I'd grab dinner before playing which would take me past 8pm.. but when I go to re-register it's not giving me the option to use my ticket?

Yeah, I’m afraid once you dereg you lose it.
Hopefully they can sort something as you didn’t know. Try Customer Care

In future, reg in advance and it will give the the Cash prize instead. You can then dereg and then Re reg when you’re ready. If that makes sense?

I satellited into yesterdays 50k Major then de-registered due to an unexpected change of plan for the evening. I was expecting the buy-in would go to my account, however it didn't and now Customer Care have advised they can't credit my account with cash. Instead it must be used as a token where I have to contact them each time so they can register me to a tournament - with satellites apparently not counting.
Is there really no way the buy-in can't be cashed into my account? As I'd like to use the money to play some cash and attempting to win a seat to day 1b of the SPT, rather than tournaments which are different to the one that I initially satellited into anyway.
I just find it a very inconsistent satellite system that you can already have a seat via earlier satellites (eg the SPT) or by pre-registering like above and get the cash value, yet this example can't.
Would greatly appreciate any advice!
