So the PC brigade defend women wearing the burqa, arguing it's their choice as a woman to wear what they want, but the same people got the grid girls banned. Go figure....

2 totally different sets of people. The former tries to stand for religious freedom and tolerance of other people's life choices, despite the best efforts of the bigot brigade.
Grid girls were banned because "it does not resonate with our brand values" (F1 statement). Thought you would see "fake news" for what it is.
I am a big fan of anything that helps make sport an occasion. Walk on girls at darts did exactly that, though I always thought the dancing girls on stage looked a bit 1970s.
Sport needs to keep up with the times, but that does not mean stopping grid girls etc earning a living. A great example was the UFC, which suggested having a male model for women's matches.
If there was no demand, then these jobs wouldn't exist.
Most heterosexual men, if they are honest, will admire an attractive woman displaying some thigh and cleavage.
Freedom of choice should be the most important consideration.
I am certain that the women that choose to take these jobs have not done so as a result of a gun being held to their heads, and have done so completely voluntarily.
These will be quite well paid jobs.
The women are being well paid for just looking good.
They may choose to take these jobs rather than wearing more clothes, and earning the minimum wage in call centre.
I am certain that these jobs will generate more applicants than a minimum wage call centre job.
Not every woman has the qualifications required to accept one of these jobs, and many of the detractors will be those that don't qualify.
You only have to visit a beach to be able to view thousands upon thousands of women displaying far more cleavage and thigh, completely free of charge.
In fact you only have to visit a night club to find women who are far more skimpily dressed, without the receipt of any wages for doing so.
At the end of the day shouldn't we just let the women who are happy to do these jobs, to just get on with it without the interference from so called do gooders.

Mm! may-be not.
