Wasn,t sure where to post this but will see if i get any replies on here
I,ve just bought £35 of ethereum after signing up to Coinbase to enable me to try another site ( who only deal in crypto currency) and i was curious of how it all works so just thought i,d try it
I keep hearing a lot of stuff about it being the way forward and supposedly how big its going to be in the future but after my first transaction i am yet to see any advantages
Firstly i was charged an 85p payment fee for my transaction then after 5 minutes it had already gone down another 30p. I guess the former is down to the price and volatility of it which i understand
But it just seems a lot more complicated than just depositing from your bank straight to the poker site and withdrawing back there. It seems to be an extra step in the depositing and withdrawal process by having to go through a broker site and i can,t see how recreational players will embrace this
Am i wrong? Are there any advantages to depositing with crypto currency and if so is it something Sky poker have thought about implementing as an extra option to the normal depsoit methods
Thx

My £35 has turned into £32 through moving money through various wallets and finally into chips and if i,m looking to withdraw i,ll have to go through the same procces -
Withdraw to IDEX - transfer on there - then back to my my ethereum wallet then transfer again back to my coinbase account - transfer back to British pounds- then to the bank - simplez - not
It was worth a try but think i,ll stick to good old cash
I thought about bitcoin, but most of my money is tied up in cash...
Someone has transferred my whole balance to their account.
Its been 1 problem after another with this site and I would advise anyone not to bother with them.

I didn,t want to name the site as I,m not sure were supposed to.
Some will know which site I mean as I,m hearing other similar stories regarding it
