Technical problems

I am logged into the site but it is not letting me launch tournaments - says I have an internet connection problem which is not correct. Please help?

    Hi @michmar

    Sorry to hear you are having problems.

    Have had a look, and there does not seem to be a site-wide problem. The 8pm Main Event has 200 or so runners, and the 8.30 Mini has just kicked off with 250 or so, and as far as I can see from the lobby and observing a few tables, both are running normally. Pretty sure the forum would be on fire by now if tables were not launching in those. SNG's seem to be running normally too from a brief look I just had.

    Maybe try logging off and logging back in again.

    Hope the problem soon clears for you.

    Thank you Tikay for having a look. I logged out several times and back in again but still wouldn't let me launch. I did try to get help with technical support but the poker option didn't seem to work .... anyway, maybe a sign to leave it tonight!!

    Ha, yes, maybe it was an omen.

    Before entering anything else tonight or tomorrow, maybe try observing a few tables in other tournaments, then you will know that tables are - or are not - launching for you.

    I'm not very techy at all as you will see, and hopefully others will be able to help you more, but try to see if you have the Adobe Flash player blocked or plug-in blocked. You need to Allow SKYPOKER site to play (launch) this on your settings. Or click on the little 'circled i' in the address bar next to https: to Allow it to launch.
    ..... and as TiKay says, try and observe a table by clicking on Tournaments tab, then click on an ongoing tourney, then click on the Tournament Lobby, then click on Tables & Players tab, and click on one of the list of tables, and then Observe table. It sounds complicated if you are new, but it's easier than it sounds and you soon get used to it.
    It's a great feature 'coz you can watch and learn from good players, and watch your friends play too.
