If you win a ticket for both days and you have a great day 1a, Do you still have to play day 1b.

I'm sure you don't have to Vinny, but I know a lot of people do, just to try and get an even bigger stack to take through to the Final Day, There's certainly no pressure on you and I've seen people shoving with rubbish and taking pots down, just 'coz they can :)

.....but I'm sure it's entirely your choice.

    Morning Vinny,

You don't HAVE to, no, it's entirely up to the player. Be a shame to waste the entry though.

Whilst I'm here, quick reminder to all that current Satellites qualify players for Day 1A (Friday). Qualifying for Day 1B (Saturday) starts on April 9th.

Sorry, i phrased it badly. If you have a great day 1a, can you transfer day 1b tix to next event.

Ahh, gotcha, I was a little puzzled by the question tbh.

Seats are non-transferable according to the T & C's, so I'd assume the answer would be "no". That's not an official response, just my view, but it feels about right.

Qualifying for Day 1B does not start until April 9th, so plenty time before then to clarify.

    Thanks Tikay,

Can you tell me who to write to on this matter. I'm hoping to qualify for a few events with sky this year. As you know im not one to have an opinion but when i do its always colorful.

Customer Care I would guess Vinny.

However, if you are not happy with the arrangement, best to not try to qualify for Day 1B would be my advice.

    Tikay,

Thanks. Would prob be ok for Nottingham but not an optimal strategy and certainly not sensible for further afield. Neither, is communicating via customer care, somehow manages to lose charm rather quickly. I shall of course raise it in my own imitable way.

    Is the correct answer.

Really is as simple as that.

On topic, if by some uncanny luck I manage to win a Spt Vegas package and the flight times don’t suit , can I swap it for a weeks groceries at Morrison’s please.

I'm with Vinny on this one.

Closest thing to an SPT is the Unibet UK Tour-same venues, same buy-in. The major difference is that their £220 tickets (and £500 packages) are transferable between Manchester/Brighton/Glasgow etc. Same for 25/25.

I know Sky get a lot of things spot-on, and understand why people set on anyone who dares to suggest that Sky could do anything better. I have already spoken to Sky about this, and am aware that tickets cannot be transferred due to the current software.

I like the SPTs. However, it is worth pointing out that nearly all the SPT sat grinders are a long way from Glasgow-the sats would be better populated if people from Sussex (or Glasgow) could choose to play the SPT that suits them. And why should Vinny be committed to playing the Saturday, when he wouldn't on any rival?

SPTs are better in many respects. That is due to the people-both players and staff. However, those people deserve a product comparable to the other Tours out there

Well said Phil, would be great to win a seat...then a 2nd for next venue or transfer,
this also encourages players to reg for more games.
