I don't normally feel very wound up when I lose in spots like this but here it's hard not to be shocked or atleast puzzled.
This player has had a calm passive game for a large part of this cash table until out of nowhere he decides to shove with 54 and some how proves to have did the right thing and made 2 pair.

But they were sooooted lol. Seriously though i would imagine that there had to be a table dynamic that youve missed if villains gone from mild mannered janitor to Hong Kong Fooey in a heartbeat, or maybe a misclick ??. Only surmising but it does seem somewhat optimistic.
