PLEASE FIND A COPY OF THE EMAIL BELOW THAT I HAVE SENT OUT TO SYNDICATE MEMBERS:
(PLEASE CANCEL YOUR STANDING ORDERS ACCORDINGLY)
Email below:
Hi guys, we have just busted third leg today. :=(
We have been running almost a year now, and unfortunately in that time we have made a significant loss.
We have had a lot of near misses, but over all it hasn't really come off.
I want to thank all the people who contributed, helped and supported, but I do feel that we have given it enough time now.
So we will continue just while we have existing funds in the kitty. (So it's not a complete stop just yet)
However, I would like everyone to CANCEL THEIR STANDING ORDERS for subsequent months.
I know a lot of people have contributed both financially and with their time, which has been much appreciated.
From a personal perspective, I have given the JACKPOT SYNDICATE priority over my own Poker Schedule, which I haven't minded doing.
I had hoped we would succeed at this level and then perhaps attack the SCOOP 6, but it hasn't worked out as I hoped.
We can still keep the NAPS leagues going for those that want to participate in it.
Never say never, I may start it up again at a later date, or we may be fortunate to get a win next month that keeps us going, we'll see.
I wish all of you, all the best, and whilst it may not have been profitable for us, I hope it has been enjoyable for you.
Kind regards,
Graham.

Has been really enjoyable from a personal point of view.

Many thanks to GRAHAM, as he has shouldered most of the work, it has been much appreciated.
Shame to see this come to an end, but totally understand the reasons behind it. Thank you Graham for all that you have done for this syndicate and the workload you have also undertaken to keep it all on track. Assisted by quite a few others, but you have carried the burden of the most work/time.
I have also learned a great deal whilst being in this group, and will continue to use that knowledge gained going forward.
Lets hope we smash it now in this last month!
Just to put some numbers into perspective. We have had 69 jackpot attempts. Of those 69 we have had 8 wins, 11 times we have had 5 winners and a second, 11 times we have had 5 winners and a third, and we have had 5 winners in 2 other attempts. If you were to ask how many times we would get 6 winners when we have got 5/6 winners on 32 occasions out of 69 (46%), I would suggest that it is reasonable to expect far more that the 8 we got. We have, in my opinion, been very unlucky.
All the best to Graham and all who have been part of this enjoyable experience.
