Techie help required for Charity initiative

@StayOrGo is once again running his HU Comp, the whole idea of which is to raise money for charity. Largely speaking, that thread is only read by those who have or were involved, hence this new thread.

He made a request this morning - can any of you assist with his request, please? You won't get paid, or be required to donate any money, but you will go to Heaven eventually.

Here's his question;

"Any techies out there?

Last year I recorded the final by pointing my phone camera at the screen. Which was awkward due to aching arms, wobbly recording and not enough space on my phone.

Is there an easy way to record something that is happening on one of the screens and record my voice (commentary) at the same time?

I have a monitor as well as my laptop screen.

Is that something one can do on twitch? I've never tried it. Or is there something easier.

Any feedback/help, much appreciated"

I have it on my pc at home, you can record any part of the screen , the whole screen , 2 monitors... also...

Alternatively.

This contraption...i use it to stick my mobile phoph to my car screen for hands free whilst driving.

Another solution.

Put the above contraption on an upside down saucer. Attach your to phone to it and point phone at the screen.

I'll have a practice and see how I get on/which works best.

If I struggle, I may well get someone else to do it, but I'll have a try first.

If someone else could record the final, that'd be great.

Also, is there a way to add commentary to it afterwards or does it have to be done at the time?

I probably will be playing Gary later tonight, (if not tomorrow), then we can schedule when's good to play the final.

yes guess i could do commentary on it could be fun as u will be able to see my cards. something different to try.

Sounds good Chris. Yes would be good for people to be able to see your hole cards.

Presumably you will be able to turn them into youtube links that we can post on here?
