The Everton goal helped my Huddersfield and the only team this season to stop man city scoring at home - again, huddersfield. Just chelsea and arsenal to thrash and we're home and dry.

Well at least now BBC can go back to their sycophantic coverage of the beautiful game, fawning over the latest flavour of the month and perpetuating myths about whatever B.S. Linneker and co dream up. For what its worth we deserved to go down this season but as the 8th current longest serving team in the Prem I would say to all those others Burnley, Bournemouth et all, be careful what you wish for.
"We're Stoke City. We'll play how we want" should still have been the chant winding up the purists in the Prem, but ultimately misguided fan opinion, 50% wanted the man who would never allow us to be relegated removed, created the catalyst for the end of the dream. I'm 54 and I doubt Stoke will grace footballs top table again in my lifetime.

Feeling relieved now
Hopefully Southampton follow and then Mark Hughes has impressively taken 2 teams down in one season.
Same for West Brom.
"But we wanna see attractive football" Okay enjoy attractive football in the Championship.
Hopefully next season the same fate befalls all the clubs with fans who have hated on Big Sam and got him fired over the years.

Wolves also did.
