On sites which let you download your hand history, this sort of thing can be accurately measured. In my experience, when rake is set at 5%, I end up paying around 10bb/100 in rake. Therefore, I'd estimate that on the micros at Sky you'd be looking at around 15bb/100 - ie you have to beat all the other players at the table for an average of 15bb/100 just to break even after accounting for the effect of rake. However, these figures will not be the same for everyone as they are very much affected by how loose or tight your overall play style is - the looser you are the more rake you'll pay.
It's swings and roundabouts really. 7.5% is without doubt the highest level of rake I've found in online cash games. However, micro stakes cash games on Sky are also the softest games I've ever found online.
Thanks @Duesenberg for your time. I forgot I could look at HM2 and compare. Ive had a year off poker so starting from the bottom.
It is for sure the softest and easy to obtain a decent winrate even with the rake. Personally think you have to adjust play style somewhat though to account for the rake at micros.
