    The £30,000 Main Event needs 300 runners to cover, & currently has just.......19.

    Plenty of ways to qualify, including Freerolls each night which give away THREE SEATS. (20 points in prior 24 hours needed).

    I used to work at Wentworth ushering players to the media tent, or standing on a corner telling cars to turn left for 10 hours straight.

    First day there Brucey drove past us in a golf buggy and a mate of mine said 'hey Bruce!'. Bruce turned round put his middle finger up and shouted '**** OFF!'. True story.

    Ha, fair play to him.

    He had a home on the course, I believe?

    Ditto Ernie Els, who used to (still can?) be able to open his back gate & walk straight onto the Course.

    Ye, Bruce's gaff was round the corner from the club house. I didn't know that about Ernie, but he was playing there every time I've been. He always seemed a top bloke.
