    Hi V. Just so you know why Misty isn't in any of the tables. It's not me being petty. It's just so difficult to match up and manipulate the tables when someone is in one and not another (the formulas all go wrong and get misaligned), it was decided in the rules that, after February, once a player falls below "70% yearly", in either the old YEARLY GO-LIVE or YEARLY COMBINED tables, they would no longer be in ANY table from that point forward.

    As far as I understand Misty is OK with this as he just wants to come in and out when he can. So I have left it so he can still post selections.

    It may be nice for him if you still record his scores as you currently do currently for Hanson. However, it is not an "error" in the GOOGLE SHEETS.

    The problem is that I haven't been recording his scores since he fell below 70% in the old GO-LIVE YEARLY table, so don't have accurate data for him. If he wants back in, I can try to update everything, based on your values, to reinstate him, but it's quite a lot of work and he's said to me that he's not fussed and can't commit to putting selections in, especially during the flat season.

    That's why I have left it as is.

    Here's a copy/paste of the rule V:

    "Players will have two months (Jan and Feb) where their yearly totals will be valid (even if less than 70%). If a player drops below 70% at any time after 28th Feb, (on either the GO-LIVE or COMBINED tables), then their results will no longer be recorded on either table, but they can still enter NAPS as and when they wish."

    Perhaps, for clarity, it should have said, "any table" rather than "either table".

    Hi ~G

    I never said Google tables were wrong. I was just saying I had included him in those. I can understand you not wanting to keep putting people in and out of the google table as the work for you would be horrendous and I know Misty doesnt mind. Also I read the rule as above as being out of all the tables whilst they were under 70% not for all time.

    However he is putting in naps again and I thought it would be nice that he could see himself in a table if it wasnt too difficult and it isnt for me, whether I put him in the table when over 70% or leave him with the also rans at the bottom with Hanson.

    I will do checking tables how you instruct me and await to hear but I just thought it would be nice for Misty and encourage him to continue joining in with us if he was treated like everybody else.

    I would hate if somebody else missed out for a little while and fell behind 70% never to be able to participate in the tables properly again.

    Hi mate, yes I agree, feel free to include Misty in your tables, I just thought you were under the impression that the GOOGLE TABLES were wrong, so was explaining why.

    Regarding someone else going below 70% on the yearly, most of us could miss for a whole month, even two months and still be above 70% yearly, so would only happen if someone stopped or was away for a very long time.

    It's only the yearly going below 70%, that defines, permanent removal from GOOGLE tables, monthly or quarterly percentages below 70% will still be shown on the active sheet.

    That's just the easiest way for it to all work as it should formula wise.

    Having said that, I am happy to reinstate Misty on the GOOGLE TABLES, if he is going to participate regularly, however my understanding (flat racing etc), is that he is not.

    Great news and hopefully I wont make any mistakes with just having Misty to deal with and no check on me , although I am sure with the posting weekly somebody will spot if he shoots up or shoots down.

    I agree its too much trouble to keep me in all G's NAPS tables, but thanks V for keeping me in your checking one. I defo couldn't commit/have very little interest in the mundane day-to-day Flat and All-Weather meetings, though the new NAPS qualifying criteria is very much easier, and better for me. I'm happy just to stay in V's checking Table if that's ok

    Just one word for this week, and it's "SUPER SNUFF!" OK that's two words.

    Remarkably Stewart (Snuffer) managed a treble on Saturday, making him the only person in profit for the week and he now has the outright lead in the Monthly, Quarterly AND Yearly, remarkably showing significant profits in EACH of these categories. Outstanding Sir!
