In field sizes such as these I don't really see why we would particularly care if we make the FT. Surely it is about making the money and wins?

Sorry Matt, I should have explained that all the Grosvenor comps are self deal until the final table so for me that's when the real poker begins. Genting is all dealer dealt and therefore attracts slightly bigger fields. but as its only at the Final table when I can see whos got what in the way of chips and which players I know I have an edge on that I can start to really play anything other than ABC.

I fully agree that its about cashing for the max that we can and this is where I feel I need a huge improvement. As I say if I can convert my FT to cash ratio from approx. 33% to something like 50% then the opportunity to play bigger and better comps beckons.

Ah, that's how you've made 405 final tables in the last 12 years, all makes sense now.

    Great stuff.

I'm gonna let that slide because Ive realised that you are actually a really pathetic little man. However should we ever meet at a live tourney I would welcome the opportunity for you to infer that I'm a cheat (which is exactly what you've done there) to my face.

The only problem is that you wouldn't dare.

I really thought you were better than that, guess I was wrong.

Did you miss my previous reply? It's usually better if you are making less cashes if it means when you do cash you are either winning it or coming 2nd. Every tournament you should be playing for the win - not to cash, or to FT.

Sorry didn't mean to ignore your post. Was to busy fuming at hyys inference that Im a cheat. You make a very good point regarding playing for the win which is something I always try to do except in online dyms and I understand the point about the wins and the 2nd places. At the end of this month I shall be winding down my live play to play almost exclusively online and trying to see if I can achieve a personal bankroll challenge using the same strategies and style that I use live.

It's called a joke, a quip, a tongue in cheek remark. A very obvious one too.

If I was gonna call you a cheat then I'd call you it, I wouldn't infer it. In Yorkshire we call a cheating spade a cheating spade innit.

Not my problem that you have a sense of humour failure.

Spend a great deal of time in West Yorkshire as I support Castleford. Never had a problem having a laugh with the locals. Still you live you learn.

In fact got a mate in Dewsbury whos always banging on about everything Yorkshire. Anyway last time I saw him he kept nagging me to try this Yorkshire Tea. Now I'm not a tea drinker at all but Ive got to admit it does capture the true flavour of Yorkshire, BITTER and DARK

    Now that's a joke.
