Thank you to Tikay and Sky for kindly extending invitation to the Golf night - I'm having an awesome trip thus far and meeting many of the Sky qualifiers (and their plus 1s) and having a few beers and a wind down on a day off grind was a major factor. It's cool that golf performance, like darts and pool (and poker?) improved with 🍺🍺s. A special shout out to Alan Shearer and his Mrs, Irish Rose and her son (I know that's what I was thinking - she looks too young to have a grown up son!) and the City and Palace fans who took me to that classy bar 😉. Oh and yes thanks Rosie for the tip re using wifi on aeroplane mode (who knew - certainly not me 🙈) - you've saved me from giving a further 60 quid to Vodafone which I will now be able to donate on sky poker upon my return 😉.

Aside from doing ok poker wise I've had a blast meeting some great characters at tables or watching World Cup - all perhaps with exception of Joe McKeehan who, politely put, is no Negrano ambasssdor type...

The latest on "breakfast biscuit" watch btw is today I politely asked if I could change my "biscuit" for some toast - they did and although they called it something equally funny like wheat bread it was toast and was very welcome. I was sooo hoping someone would stop by and ask where my "biscuit" was so I could reply..."scone"!😂. I'm here all week - hopefully longer 🤞

Cheers matey - I'm the King of the cheapish daily deepstacks at Rio but have been rubbish at the bigger buy in MTTS I've played 🙈...ain't that just the way huh! Of the MTTS I've bricked I've played the Venetian 500k gtd (nice set up, Casino etc), Planet Hollywood Goliath 500k ( awful tournament management and a bit grubby all round) plus the Monster at the Rio. The Rio is awesome the way they organise so many events like clockwork - not just saying that cos I've had 4 cashes and a FT (7th - bitter sweet obviously - as soon as the young hero called my jam with ace queen with his king jack and declared it a "flip" I knew I was toast 🙈).

Playing the Giant tonight at Rio which is 365 bracelet event - note to self, pretend it's a daily tourney 😎

Oh yeah, forget to mention, I got one of these beauties (was fishing until river 😉) - special anywhere but cool to get one in Vegas baby😎
