Late registration period in the nightly £5.50 freezout at 21:00

The tourney mentioned in the title above has an unusually short late reg period in closing at the end of level 3. Is there any particular reason for this?

Pretty much all the other tourney's on the site with the same blinds structure remain open for a fair while longer and it would be nice to have the option of jumping into this one a little later too.

    Hi mate,

Thanks very much for that Tikay and James. The ability to get positive things done through this forum is a huge plus for playing here and I really hope SkyStars recognise that once full integration is complete.

It was good seeing a noticeable boost to the number of entrants on the back the the increased reg time. It seems that a longer registration period is a pretty significant factor in getting more bums on seats and it probably explains why the Mega Stack tourneys on Fridays and Saturdays seem to do well in the land where the bounty hunter is king. With that in mind, I'll chance my arm with a couple of other suggestions/requests for those of us who still like some old fashioned non-bounty hunting action.

    1. A £5.50 rebuy. It could be an unlimited or single rebuy format (maybe with an add-on too) and I'd suggest starting stacks of 150bb's to allow for an extended period of late reg to help a new event of this type to gain some traction. Start off with a very small guarantee so the risk to Sky is negligible and see if it wins any fans.

    2. A nightly £11 freezeout. Basically, put the Sunday Mini on throughout the week but with a much reduced guarantee (I'd suggest £200). With the exception of Sunday, there are no non-bounty hunter offerings at all in the schedule at this price point.

I realise asking for more standard MTT offerings here at Sky may well go down like a lead balloon, but there's no harm in asking. I'm still pretty chuffed that the Saturday Mega Stack got added after requesting it through the forum and it seems to still be holding up well.

Finally, congrats to @Toffeeandy for last nights score :)
