There were cash games at Brighton.... but they tended to be later on, when there are less people and tables in the SKY event, and so tables & dealers available for cash games....
...........and the regulars come in from the Pubs & Clubs
Cash games usually start once a few tables come free, mid to late evening, & then go on all night. I often go home after Day 1 of an SPT has finished & when I return the next morning the same lads are still sitting there in the same game from the night before.
PS - interesting alias. Can we assume you have a bike?

8 hours (with breaks), but they have Dealers available 24/7.
As far as I know, all casinos in the UK are 24/7, certainly all half-decent ones.
DTD used to close at 4am, but that's not really a casino as such.
You may have heard of the Fitzwilliam Cardroom in Dublin. It used to be a church, but was converted to a Casino & Cardroom in around 1950, & has never closed since as far as I know, 24/7/365 for over 70 years. The Dealers have changed though.
Love the Fitzwilliam in Dublin. Only been to Dublin once but managed to fit a few hours of cash in there, great atmosphere for a poker room. Not licensed but suppose that adds to the old school feel. You won't have that issue in Glasgow.
In relation to the original question there will pretty much be cash all weekend at Alea. Unless the SPT is using every table then it'll be on when there's one free. On a normal weekend cash will run all Friday night til morning then start again around 5pm Saturday and run all night again. They have 1/2 nlhe running more frequently than anywhere else in Glasgow. £40 min sit down with no max, so it sometimes plays pretty big. But I assume there will be a few tables going on the weekend of the SPT.

Hi @sighcall
@MISTY4ME has summed it up perfectly.

A bike??
It's phonetic. "sighcall" is what we do on a bike, right?
