Sad to see her latest outburst at the US Open. Sexist umpire? Puh-lease.
Imagine if the sexes were reversed. Multi-millionaire male tennis player breaks rules, refuses to accept that the umpire is there to referee, and calls some poor woman earning a millionth of his salary a liar and a cheat, and demands an apology. Anyone think that the female umpire is sexist in that scenario? Didn't think so. The actual umpire has penalised all leading male tennis players recently.
Still waiting for Ms Williams to confirm that she has dismissed her coach for his actions (which he has freely admitted). Meanwhile she has ruined a young tennis player's greatest moment with her actions.

I am unsure of why she thought she should get sympathy for abusing the official responsible for implementing the rules, when he was only implemented the rules.
Had he not disciplined her at all, then he would have deserved some criticism.
John McEnroe used to get disciplined a lot, but only because he broke the rules a lot. It was nothing to do with being a male, white, having curly hair, or being left handed. It was purely because he broke the rules.
Every professional sportsperson who breaks the rules should expect to face the appropriate penalty, and not put up pathetic excuses.

Truth is, she's a great player, ruled the roost for 2 decades & deservedly so. And when the young lass handed her a tennis lesson she could not stomach being beaten.
She was fined $17,000 for her transgressions.
Her runner's up prize was $1,850,000.
The referee was paid his standard fee of $600.
Pointing fingers at the Umpires, demanding this that & the other? Tennis does not need that, get outa here Serena.
And now we hear news that the cartoon is racist......
