hi all, i know we all have our good and bad days (take the rough with the smooth etc) but this is stating to get ridiculous the amount of times ive been knocked out of a tournament with AA KK QQ ak premium hands after raising fairly big i play quite aggressive to be called with far inferior hands only for them to hit 2pp or flush straight ect, plus if ive seen there play to seem a bit iffy i always check sharkscope and 9 times out of 10 they are a new player, so starting to wonder do i avoid new players, obviously thats not the way to play but starting to get a bit suspicious that sky favour new players its happening all too often, id appreciate some feedback thanks

Hi @dazzercfc
That'd be a clever piece of software, a bit beyond Sky Poker's software abilities I'd respectfully suggest. And do you REALLY think the Sky Poker staff are all crooks, because that is what you are implying?
" 9 times out of 10 they are a new player".
That'd be a neat trick too - it assumes Sky Poker must sign up a LOT of new players. I'll bet you good money "9 out of 10" is a major exaggeration. In truth, it's just a convenient turn of speech. Sky Poker simply don't get enough "new players" to make your claim even remotely possible.
Outdraws are part of the game, Live & Online, always have been, always will be. They happen, they just do, they are SUPPOSED to happen, the maths prove that.
PS - WHATEVER you do, don't EVER try playing PLO8 or PLO. Then you'd really learn what regular outdraws are.
Makes a change from Rigged rng I suppose “ It’s not me , it’s them”
How do you suppose Sky manage to filter out new players, give them cards they MAY play, make sure you are at your pc and have good internet coverage ( not gone to the bathroom etc)
Do you think they have someone monitoring the tables with a switch?
Or are you suggesting the rng favours new players?
When do new players stop being new? One day, one week, one month?
It has got nothing to do with new players, the site being rigged, or someone subsidising Tikays pension with a bribe, it is just the odds.
If you are all in pre, holding AK off, and your opponent shows 9 10 suited, your are over the moon. You think you will win every time.
Yet you are less than a 60% favourite. You will lose in this scenario 4 times out of 10.
You have to accept this all the time. Not just the six times out of 10 that you win. So when you lose in this situation, you just have to think that it was one of the 4 out of ten, nothing else. Not your fault, its the odds.
The cardplayer site has a very easy to use odds calculator on their home page under the tools tab.
