Tip

Got a horse today from a well known racing tipster as a freebie to try, RUFUS KING 7.15 Chelmsford, I put a score on at 11/4 on Skybet, dont really do tipsters but I thought I would give it a go, cant be any worse than the horses Im picking at the moment.

    Thanks Rab.
I don't really do Tipsters either and hardly ever watch All-Weather Racing, let alone bet on it, but RUFUS KING ran a very good race last time out at the track in a good class race and seems to like it there. Slightly worried about widest of all draw which is usually a big negative at Chelmsford, but at least there's only 8 runners and RUFUS KING usually breaks well. I love Will Buick riding for Mark Johnston without it being a Godolphin horse, but worried about VERY TALENTED (Will Buick would normally be on this) with super 3lb claimer Jason Watson on board and the fact it's short in the betting, even though it hasn't run for 2 years, last run was an awesome performance in 'The Cambridgeshire' and could well be a Group horse in the future. A definite conundrum :*

Good Luck with it mate and hope it breaks your losing run

EDIT: they might be getting VERY TALENTED ready for another go at next week's 'Cambridgeshire'

He had to use up too much petrol from the widest draw....
I can't believe that VERY TALENTED went off at 11/8. Wouldn't it nice to be in the know sometimes B)
It was obviously well fancied with it being favourite after a 2 year absence !

I don't think that Tipster will be getting any more customers after that tip ..... unless he was in the know and was trying to get the price of other horses to go out...... who knows?

One of the Flat trainers I really like when the money is down, is Simon Crisford. When his horses are backed, they usually run very well and often win. When his horses are well backed on their debut's, they are a really good horse, the latest example being JASH.
After all he was Godolphin's Racing Manager for many years, so he knows a good horse when he gets one :)
