    As it happened, I don't think he complained. Maybe he never noticed - thank God. Can't begin to imagine how he would have kicked off or for how long he would have prattled on.

    I have it on good authority that the delay was purely down to the amount of Scottish, Welsh and other foreigners that were in League 2. The English pound was too strong to transfer on Monday, so a day's delay saved Sky Poker thousands*. ( *allegedly)
