Why cant sky do smaller table tournies for people who haven`t got hours and hours of time to play proper tournies??? Why cant they have 5 or 6 table tournies (30 players max) or something similar...I believe other sites do these so why don`t sky??

    Hi @camilog

    If you are referring to, for example, 30 man SNG's & the like, the current software does not support that format I'm afraid.

    Plenty of 6 player SNG's & DYM's though.

    Yes that was what I was referring to Tikay...

    Thats a shame....

    Would sky ever look into that in the future??

    And how often do sky upgrade their software?? (just curious on this one)

    It's certainly something they may consider in future. It's a wider issue than just software though, liquidity for example. If the plan were to have half a dozen 30 Man SNG's at a time, given the liquidity on Sky Poker than would seriously affect the traffic on the existing SNG's & MTT's.

    Not sure what you mean by "Upgrade software". They do little updates all the time, but the existing software can't handle 30 Man's as far as I know. Brand new all singing & dancing software is a rare beast, but may well happen in the near future. It was halfway through Development when the 'Stars takeover was announced, & so sadly, it had to be "paused" for reasons which I have explained at length on this Forum previously.

    Ha, I'm afraid I'll have to leave you in the hands of the young guns for that, the game has not only passed me by, it's lapped me, I get shown the blue flag these days when I play MTT's.
