I love live poker-a hand to remember

Sometimes live poker just takes my breath away.

Last weekend, played at the Unibet Poker Tour at Brighton. Firstly, quick comparison to the SPT there 6 weeks earlier. Plus points:-the Day 2 structure was better. I actually cashed! (just). Minus points:-the Unibet staff spent most of their time talking to their sponsored players and (frankly) were not as good as Sky staff, and (with certain exceptions) the players just were not as friendly.

I will remember precisely 1 hand from this Tournament (and NO, it's not a bust out hand, bad beat whinge moan-I lost a flip, big deal). It was this from Day 1.

I am in the Small Blind, it is Level 1 and there are already antes (boo). There are 8 (yes, 8) limpers before me. I look at 1 of my cards, it is a 5, so I limp too. The Big Blind then....folded :).

Apparently, he refuses to play a bad hand, even for free. Why are people like that always on my left :)

Haha, brilliant I suppose this player just blinded out while waiting for his AA

Excellent fold, I'm guessing he knows that even with AA he's not a favourite to win the hand and wants to save his chips for a better situation.

Worse-if he had a decent hand pre-flop he would play that strongly irrespective of the cards/other people's betting patterns etc. He only just made it to level 3....
