Thanks

    Hi @Amarie MOTHERRRRR.

    I'm not aware of any further chances to qualify on Sky Poker, but yes, you will be able to buy in at the venue. Arrive nice and early though, to avoid going on the Alternates list.

    Look forward to seeing you.

    PS - I will ask the office on Monday if direct buy-in via Sky Poker can be arranged. You never know, they might oblige.

    Thanks Mr K, we are travelling up on Friday so will probably call into the casino Friday evening and buy in for Saturday then.

    Can you believe I have never been to Scotland before? I presume you will be wearing one of them little skirt things that I hear men wear in Scotland.

    See you soon

    @Amarie

    MOTHER, keep an eye out (I'll nudge you, too) but Direct Buy-In via Sky Poker IS likely to open at some stage, probably Monday.

    I would pay good money to see that, especially given it would probably be topped off with a lovely Walmart T shirt and grey socks

    Yup-able to visualise that.

    Who do I sue for the resultant PTSD? :)

    Hi Big Man,

    Just turn up, it's that simple. But ideally, arrive early to avoid queues.

    See you Friday.

    PS - Word of warning. It's ENGLISH ONLY at the tables. OK?

    Myself and @TommyD were called out for this in Vegas by a dealer. Seems that our brand of English wasn't English enough for the dealer!

    I'm very much looking forward to this one. I haven't been to Scotland for ages and somehow I seem to have lived this long without ever going to Glasgow.

    You might find that you have lived this long because you've never been to Glasgow :)

    Hi again @Amarie

    Good news MOTHER - Direct Buy In via Sky Poker is now open. It'll likely close some time on Wednesday, so don't leave it too long.

    Here's the link to the Lobby to buy-in;
